Selection Process
The Lausanne 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games will take place January 9-22. The Olympic village is in Lausanne, with the ski mountaineering events taking place in Villars sur Ollons, Switzerland.
The Youth Olympic Games will comprise three race events; Individual, Sprint, and Mixed Relay. Participating athletes must be born between 2002-2003. The USSMA has earned the max number of athlete spots, which is 4 (2 female, 2 male).

Secondary (Backup) Venue – Arapahoe Basin Ski Resort, CO

(If we can’t use the primary or secondary location and be on snow – This is would be a dry-land selection event) – Three Events:
